Successful with Social Media

LifeTechLimburg wants to support the dynamic life sciences network in the region. Therefore we invited Jo Caudron of Dear Media to give an inspiring lecture about Social Media.

First of all we asked him to give a glance of what the future will offer. Smart-phones, tablets and an overload of apps are dominating the market. Which opportunities do they offer? The developments in the market will be illustrated with speaking examples.

In the second part, Jo Caudron will show us the power of Social Media by presenting some case studies. After the presentation you will understand better how you can use them in an efficient and effective way. We focus on LinkedIn and Twitter and on the use of applications to connect your social media.

Biomedica 2012

Knowledge for Growth

On Thursday 24 May 2012, FlandersBio will organise the 8th edition of its annual life sciences convention Knowledge for Growth at the ICC ghent

Knowledge for Growth is Europe’s largest regional biotech convention, attended by over 1000 individual participants representing 330 companies and organisations active in the life sciences (61% of representatives from the industry, 39% of academics).

Consequently, Knowledge for Growth is the networking event of the year for the sector, featuring an extensive programme of business and scientific lectures (over 40), a space with company booths; and a poster exhibition. Last but not least Knowledge for Growth will also organise a job fair giving companies and jobseekers in the life sciences the opportunity to get to know each other.
