Hasselt. On the 2nd of February 2012 the inauguration of the Late Development Wing of BioVille, the Bio-Incubator which is located on the Campus of Hasselt University in Diepenbeek takes place. Together with the opening, the board of BioVille announces the plans to build a second phase by which the capacity will double. This expansion will be realised by means of the investment agency LRM and Limburg Sterk Merk (LSM).

On the 20th of January 2011 we welcomed Allanta, known as the centre for quality management in Limburg. They offered an awareness training on quality management for the development and production of Medical Devices. A topic that is hot within the life sciences community, about 65 persons participated.
After an introduction by Roderik Debusscher, Marcel Frère and Sabrina Gérard introduced the audience into the different aspects of quality management, focusing both at the European and the American market.
The different topics that came forward were: legislation, development, product realization, market, the technical file and finally the quality management system. In case you are interested in one of the topics, Allanta offers specific training programs on each subject:

After 3,5 years Skills³, the Interreg 4 project that aimes at strengthening the Euregional Cross Border Labour Market, comes to an end. Nevertheless LifeTechLimburg is proud to announce the continuation of Vividlinks.eu, the project’s online career community, by ElsevierJobs.
