CareVille welcomes more than 600 seniors

Care Ville Limburg is a living lab with a specific focus on innovations in elderly care. CareVille Limburg focuses on strengthening the 'care mobility' to offer the elderly a more qualitative, safe and affordable way to live at home.

The Cities Genk and Hasselt invited their inhabitants over 65 for an information moment where CareVille and the underlying projects were presented to the audience. The number of registrations was unexpected! In total, more than 630 people were received at KRC Genk (27th of June) and PXL (4th of July), with another 400 people on the waiting list.

The project is managed by LifeTechLimburg, POM Limburg and the cities of Genk and Hasselt together with the following partners Fifthplay, U-sentric, H. Essers, Jessa Ziekenhuis, Ziekenhuis Oost-Limburg, Koninklijke Limburgse ApothekersVerbond, Wit-Gele Kruis, Familiehulp, OCMW Genk en Hasselt, vzw Menos, Herkenrode huisartsen, Huisartsenkring Prometheus.
